Financial investment activities and transactions have been available in Vietnam for a long time. However, a real financial investment industry has not yet appeared because these activities and transactions are still small in number and volume.  Similarly, though there have been people who are responsible for investment and financial analysis in enterprises, it has not yet become a professional career in society.  Nevertheless, PACE recognizes that the financial investment industry is currently growing fast enough so that the job of the Financial Analyst (FA) in Vietnam will fast become the “heart and soul” of this industry.With that foresight, PACE has launched the Professional Financial Analyst (PFA) training program with the aim to contribute the establishment and development of a generation of highly qualified professional financial analysts for the investment industry in Vietnam. 

PACE envisions that becoming a FA is a career path and not solely functioning as a position in the investment industry.  Currently, FAs hold important positions in most financial institutions, such as securities companies, banks, insurance companies, financial companies, and investment fund management firms.  These positions have gradually become more and more integrated into regional and global investment industry.  Therefore, PACE hopes to start preparing and developing FA professionals today so that they are equipped with relevant knowledge and expertise to effectively co-operate and compete with their counterparts in the global financial market.

PACE has researched and designed this PFA program, with the reference to some of the most outstanding training programs for financial analysts in the world, especially the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program of the CFA Institute in the United States.

The trainer board includes finance and investment experts who have deep and broad knowledge and international experience of these fields. They hope to contribute to upgradingthe Vietnam investment industry and integrating it into the regional and global investment industry.
