JAPANESE WAYS IN BUSINESS & MANAGEMENT

Business ideology and management approach is considered as heart and soul of a business in particular, and of an industry as a whole. These factors differentiate high and low performers in a same industry and play a critical part in forming business strategies and management methodologies of an individual business as well as business communities.

The world history of business and commerce has explicit evidences to prove that business greatness is built only by business ideology and management mindset that are based on timeless principles and universal values. Additionally, these business ideology and management mindset are also the key to transform a business to a sustainable development.

At nation scale, the above affirmation itself proves it trueness.Consider Meiji Restoration, happening within several decades, this “reform” has transformed the entire feudal Japan society into one of the most developed nations in the world. That is the reason why Japanese Business ideology and management mindset attract much sought after by researchers on management matters.

About Talk&Think Forum-Talk to Think

Talk&Think is a not-for-profit monthly forum (with no participation fee) co-organized by PACE Institute of Management and Good Book Project.

The greatSocrates once said: “I cannot teach anybody anything, I can only make them think”. Making people think is a foundational activity of education, and when an individual truly thinks, he/she learns, learns authentically.

Talk&Think was, therefore, founded to help “make people think”, and focused on core and in-depth aspects of economics, business, management, leadership, culture, education… With this spirit, the Forum attracts great support and participation of leading experts and thinkers in their fields to share the insights and wisdoms to wider communities.
